Style And Influences:

Andy has been influenced by many musicians and guitarists over the years. However, his main influences have always been David Gilmour (Pink Floyd), Steve Rothery (Marillion), Steve Hackett (Genesis), Steve Howe (Yes), The Beatles, The Beach Boys as well as more contemporary bands like Joy Division, The Chameleons, The Psychedelic Furs to name but 3.

Andy’s style of playing is firmly Blues based with a "Less Is More" attitude, he's not a "shredder", as he says "My fingers just don't move that fast". However he has embraced the use of effects to enhance his sound and uses delay, chorus etc to great effect.

Andy has played many styles over the years, everything from Ceilidh, Folk to Punk and everything inbetween.
